Policies and Procedures

At Oranga School, we use SchoolDocs, an online policy service that provides a comprehensive set of policies and procedures aligned with current New Zealand legislation, Ministry of Education requirements, and best practice. These policies are regularly reviewed and updated in response to changes in legislation, Ministry guidelines, and feedback from schools.

Alongside the core policies, SchoolDocs includes information that is specific to Oranga School, such as our strategic documents, behaviour management procedures, reporting to parents, and other school-based practices.

Throughout the year, selected policies are scheduled for review, and parents, caregivers, whānau, and staff are invited to provide feedback. We will let our community know through our newsletter when a policy is available for review and how you can participate.
